I love the outdoors and always admire the natural beauty of flowers and trees. When I saw this tree blooming, I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for a garden themed party.

The freshly cut flowers from my garden accented the table perfectly, and the tree created a beautiful “confetti” across the grass with the newly fallen petals.

The setting was captured by the very talented Jennifer, from Priceless Studios Photography. She did an amazing job photographing the table and all the small details throughout.

Being in a garden setting, I wanted the table to be surrounded by butterflies. Real butterflies, of course, can’t be guaranteed, so I went with the next best thing. ;) I placed die-cuts from Elite Paperie in fun places to make it appear as if butterflies actually landed on the table.

Cupcakes were used for this small party, but I still wanted to create a way to have the appearance of a large cake. I came up with this unique tiered pedestal, and then wrapped it in ribbon and surrounded it with more freshly cut flowers.

I was also set on the idea of having lollipop flowers because I think they’re amazingly cute. I painted some small terracotta pots with pink and white paint to match the table. I filled the pots with some white sixlets, and put the lollipops in the center with some green ribbon to represent the flower’s leaves. This lollipop display turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the table!

One of my other favorite things on the table were the Rice Krispie treats. I made a regular pan of Rice Krispie treats (I used Marshmallow Fluff), and then cut them out using these flower and butterfly cookie cutters. I melted some white chocolate chips in my microwave {at 50%  power so they wouldn’t burn!} and used that to stick some pink and green jelly beans to the Rice Krispie Treats. Placed inside clear cello treat bags with a topper on them, they’re the perfect treats to take home at the end of party!

Along with candy and other treats, lemonade was poured using these adorable plastic bottles and green striped straws from Tom Kat Studio. I also dressed up the drinks with some brown twine and straw flags.
